Summer is officially just around the corner. And this year, more than ever, it’s time to enjoy every moment. Because the health situation has finally relaxed and because after two years of uncertainty, we have earned it. Or have we? That’s why we at Cifre Cerámica want to welcome the summer by reclaiming outdoor spaces and those environments that invite relaxation: terraces, gardens, swimming pools… Spaces that inspire us and that we want to enhance with new collections of outdoor ceramics. Yes, “amigos”, it’s summer tile!
Thanks to its versatility, resistance and ability to adopt any design, ceramics is a great ally to boost terraces, gardens and outdoor spaces of a home. Looking for inspiration? Then we invite you to join us for a look at some of the season’s trends.
The charm of zeolites is the star of Bali, a ceramic collection of surprising textures wrapped in a halo of mysticism. Available in 2 formats and 3 shades, Bali is made up of non-slip stoneware tiles, ideal for use in swimming pools, but also on terraces and even façades.
From the charm of zeolites to the explosion of colour and vitality of Keystone, the small format continues to be the protagonist in outdoor spaces. In this case through a collection that stands out for its glossy finish and the liveliness of its shades (blue, white and turquoise).
If there is an aesthetic capable of adapting to any space, it is cement. Thanks to the neutrality of its tones and its smooth texture, it brings sobriety and sophistication to outdoor spaces. This is the case of the Materia collection, available in 60×60 antislip format in three shades. This series designed for large architectural projects introduces new graphics and industrial-looking finishes to ceramic design.
Also with the cementitious texture as the protagonist, two of the latest additions to our catalogue allow for continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. We are talking about Norwich, with its calm beauty and richness of textures and nuances, and Midtown and its marked urban personality.
Natural stones such as marble and granite have inspired a multitude of outdoor spaces for centuries. Thanks to design and technology, ceramics are capable of capturing their beauty and improving their performance (durability, resistance to weather conditions…). It is therefore not surprising that natural design is once again becoming a trend on terraces and in gardens.
And in this case, there are many options. The expressiveness of the purest marble gives shape to Caesar, a collection that also jumps to outdoor spaces to fill them with personality with its characteristic veining. Granite, on the other hand, perfectly imitates the intriguing textures of granites with simple structures and small fragments. Its matt and slightly honed finish makes it an ideal covering that suits different styles of interior design .
Who says that the aesthetics of the most natural wood has no place in gardens and terraces? With a material like ceramics, anything is possible. Heartwood, for example, blurs the boundaries of design and shows us that the applications of wood design ceramics go far beyond the cosiest of interiors. In the same way, Yukon expands the possibilities of oak design thanks to its anti-slip qualities and its variety of shades (oak, grey, honey and walnut). And of course, let’s not forget Sagres, a collection with deck aesthetics that stands out for its ability to guarantee maximum resistance to stains and exposure to the sun.
These are just some of the aesthetics that you can use in outdoor spaces, but there are more. If you want to get to know them, keep an eye on our networks in the coming weeks, because we plan to fill them with summer inspiration.
