Mapei recommended products for grouting and sealing porcelain tiles\u00a0 | Cifre Cer\u00e1mica.<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1628173931960{padding-right: 40px !important;}”]Based on our experience<\/strong>, we recommend below a list of Mapei<\/a> products<\/strong> for grouting and sealing CIFRE CERAMICA<\/strong> porcelain floor and wall tiles.<\/p>\n

Before grouting the joints between tiles, wait at least 24 hours if a normal setting product has been used.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1628174311180{padding-right: 40px !important;}”]Grouting indoor:<\/strong><\/p>\n

When a cementitious grout on wall and floor for internal use is required, the following products may be used:<\/p>\n

ULTRACOLOR PLUS<\/strong><\/p>\n

High-performance, anti-efflorescence, quick setting and drying polymer-modified mortar with water-repellent Drop Effect\u00ae and mould-resistant BioBlock\u00ae technology for grouting joints 2 to 20 mm wide. It is classified as CG2WA according to EN 13888.<\/p>\n

KERACOLOR FF:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pre-blended, high-performance, polymer-modified, cementitious mortar with water-repellent Drop Effect\u00ae technology for grouting joints up to 6 mm wide. It is classified as CG2WA according to EN 13888.<\/p>\n

KERACOLOR GG: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Pre-blended, high-performance, polymer-modified, cementitious mortar for grouting joints 4 to 15 mm wide. It is classified as CG2WA according to EN 13888.<\/p>\n

Grouting outdoor:<\/strong><\/p>\n

For grouting floors or facade walls we recommended ULTRACOLOR PLUS; when KERACOLOR FF and KERACOLOR GG are requested they have to be mixed with FUGOLASTIC.<\/p>\n

Special Grouting:<\/strong><\/p>\n

(indoor & outdoor): When high strength and high chemical resistance combined with a decorative attractive finish are required, the following epoxy grouts must be used:<\/p>\n

KERAPOXY: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Two-component, high-performance, anti-acid epoxy mortar and adhesive with no vertical slip for laying and grouting of ceramic tiles and stone material (minimum width of joints 3 mm). It is classified as RG according to EN 13888<\/p>\n

KERAPOXY CQ: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Two-component epoxy grout, easy to apply and with excellent cleanability, ideal for grouting ceramic tiles and mosaics. It is classified as RG according to EN 13888.<\/p>\n

KERAPOXY DESIGN: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Two-component, anti-acid, decorative, translucent epoxy mortar for grouting glass mosaic, ceramic tiles and stone material, used in combination with MAPEGLITTER for a particular attractive and high quality finish. It is classified as RG according to EN 13888.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”52px”][vc_column_text]Complementary products:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As complementary products for cleaning ceramic tiles grouted with the above mentioned products, KERANET<\/strong> and KERAPOXY CLEANER<\/strong> may be used.<\/p>\n

Sealing: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Use MAPESIL AC<\/strong>, pure, mould-resistant, acetic silicone sealant whit BioBlock\u00ae technology for movement up to 25%, for filling elastic joints on internal walls and floor<\/p>\n
